Holidays are Over, Back to Shameless Self Promotion…
Happy 2009! I hope this finds you after having had a fabulous Holiday break with your loved ones. I had fantastic Holidays, although I can’t really say I had a break as I worked pretty much the whole time. Always a good thing!
During that time, two projects I’d had the pleasure of working on hit the streets (click on images to see larger);
This past August or so I worked on a Calendar shoot for the Men’s division of Ford Models West. Picture a screaming hot day in the remote desert, shooting at an abandoned motel, gas station and cafe – complete with a functional pool – that’s now used solely as a filming location. The location manager lives there in an air conditioned trailer with his two dogs and good thing too – I got mild heat exhaustion and I needed to sit in his air conditioned trailer to resuscitate myself. So there I was in the middle of nowhere watching Medical Mysteries while the location manager told me stories of him hanging out with Keith Richards. Awesome! Once revived, I went back out and worked on a bevy of gorgeous male models. Ah, the sacrifices one must make for one’s career… 
Further solidifying my status in the Teen Scene – I worked on a catalogue shoot for Pottery Barn Teen a bit ago and that catalogue has now hit the stores. It was nice to see this time my work wasn’t preempted by a Christmas Tree. HaHa! It was a fun shoot, I always enjoy the teen stuff and working with the folks at Pottery Barn was a good time. Also, Big Thanks to my assistant, Elizabeth Hart for her work on the shoot as well. Thanks, girl!
